Collection of personal data
When you create a profile as a freelancer on worksome.dk, we collect the following personal data about you: Name, e-mail, telephone number, company name, address, website and CVR no. In some cases, we also collect your civil registration no. You may upload your profile picture and add your CV to your profile. By uploading your picture, you expressly consent to publication of the picture on your profile until you remove it again. Worksome does not use your picture for any purpose other than this.
When you create a profile as a business on worksome.dk, we collect the following data about you: Name, e-mail, telephone number, company name, address, website and CVR no.
We do not collect any special categories of personal data (sensitive data) about you.
Processing of personal data
We only process personal data to the extent necessary, for instance when you create a profile as a freelancer or as a business. Processing may e.g. be necessary to enable us to meet our obligations under contracts and ancillary services or statutory obligations which we must meet as a Danish business being subject to Danish law.
We do not engage in profiling of you and do not abuse your personal data. Further, we do not disclose your personal data without your consent, unless we are required by law to do so.

Exchange of your personal data
We may exchange your personal data with our suppliers and cooperative partners assisting in the execution of your order or providing IT, hosting, SMS gateway or other services to us. As an example, we may share your data with our service providers, our technical supporters and our bank.
We share your data to the extent that we are required to do so, e.g. in order to meet regulatory reporting requirements, including from the tax authorities.
Exchange of data with non-EU/EEA recipients
Worksome uses subcontractors which process personal data on our behalf. In many cases, the subcontractors are domiciled in non-EU/EEA countries. Worksome only cooperates with businesses which either hold a Privacy Shield certificate or which are otherwise committed to GDPR compliance.
Protection of personal data
We are required under the Danish Act on Processing of Personal Data to store your personal data in a safe and confidential manner. We store your personal data on computers with restricted access that are placed in controlled facilities, and our security measures are regularly checked to determine if user details are handled properly, having regard to your rights as a user. However, we cannot guarantee 100% safe data transfers via the internet. It means that there may be a (limited) risk of unauthorised third parties getting access to data that are transferred and stored electronically. Thus, you provide your personal data at your own risk.
Personal data are deleted or anonymised on an ongoing basis as the purpose for which they were collected is met. Personal data are stored for a maximum of 12 months after meeting the purpose.
The rapid development of the internet means that it may be necessary to change our processing of personal data. We therefore reserve the right to update and change these guidelines on the processing of personal data. If we do so, we will of course also change the date in paragraph 9 “last updated” at the bottom of the page. In case of significant changes, we will notify you by posting a prominent notification on the website.
To the extent that we process personal data about you, we are required under the Danish Act on Processing of Personal Data to inform you which personal data can be attributed to you. If the data we process turn out to be inaccurate or misleading, you have a right to have the data rectified, deleted or blocked. You may object to the processing of your personal data at any time. You may also withdraw your consent at any time. For this purpose, you may use the above contact details. You can also complain of the processing of your personal data. The complaint must be filed with the Danish Data Protection Agency under section 58(1) of the Danish Act on Processing of Personal Data.
